Case study

Project overview

Still Detox is an ongoing digital project that began in 2024 for a substance use treatment center in Boca Raton, Florida. My role covers the website and the wider communication system around it rather than a single redesign or campaign.

I design and develop the WordPress website, build and refine front-end components with CSS, and structure treatment, admissions, location, and educational content so the site works both as a patient-facing resource and as an organic search platform. The work includes page architecture, service-page development, technical and on-page SEO decisions, and continuous iteration as the facility’s programs and search opportunities change.

Content is a major part of the project. I research substance-use topics, treatment questions, search behavior, and emerging drug terminology, then translate that research into long-form blog articles, landing pages, FAQs, and supporting content. The editorial system is built around a consistent clinical but direct tone of voice: clear enough for people actively looking for help, specific enough to answer search intent, and restrained enough to avoid generic rehabilitation marketing language.

The project also includes communication strategy across the site: deciding how the facility explains medical detox, residential treatment, admissions, insurance, safety, and treatment modalities; how calls to action are placed; and how the brand maintains a recognizable voice across commercial pages and educational articles. SEO strategy, research, content production, design, and WordPress implementation are therefore managed as one connected system rather than separate deliverables.

Project period: 2024–present.
